It is upon embarking on a meditation practice that we begin to discover that we are rarely present.
A meditation practice allows us to notice our automatic and default tendencies; that we are often carried away from the present moment by our thoughts and emotions, and that this happens throughout each day.
Cultivated through meditation (and other practices), mindfulness is the capacity we all have allowing us to return to presence.
