What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention, to the present moment, without judgement. 


The practice allows us to notice our automatic tendencies; that we are often carried away from the present moment by our thoughts and emotions. It is through this practice of observing direct experience that we increase personal insight.   


Mindfulness is the capacity we all have which allows us to return to the present moment.
